If you want to check out a website that has many innovative products for the professional electrician or for the home electrical DIYer, Rack-a-Tiers is the place to visit.

Several years ago, two Vancouver Island electricians had a vision of a better way to do their job.  Their first invention was the Rack-A-Tier, a two-piece set of wire spooling stands that have many diverse uses within the trade, around the jobsite, or around the home.

Back when I owned Olds Electric & Lighting, the first time I was introduced to the product I bought a set for the company.  They were so popular with the crews that they began hiding them in their work vans to have for themselves instead of sharing amongst the crews as I had planned.  I soon realized that every van needed a set of Rack-A-Tiers.  I’m not sure why I didn’t just buy several sets right from the start, as the cost of them was insignificant compared to the usefulness of the item.

Rack-A-Tiers has expanded to a catalogue of hundreds of items; some of Rack-A-Tiers‘ own inventions, others from creative electricians everywhere.

Rack-A-Tiers makes a claim that they are all about the people.  They have many agents, employees, suppliers and customers that can attest to this statement.  The company has grown to something much larger than the two proprietors could have ever imagined.
